Donations

The Lake Puckaway Protection & Rehabilitation District would like to thank all of those who have donated to the Lake District! Because of the generous donations of individuals and businesses, the District is able to preserve the recreational and economic value of the resources for the enjoyment of its residents and visitors now and into the future; protect and enhance the quality of Lake Puckaway's fish and wildlife; promote ecologically balanced water levels, water clarity, and shoreline habitat; promote the history and proper management of the lake; and promote the education, research, and information sharing between organizations, individuals, government bodies, and the general public for the protection, preservation, and improvement of Lake Puckaway.

THANK YOU!

Janssen's Bait & Tackle

Janssen's Bait & Tackle generously donated $1,930.00 to the Lake District's Fish Hatchery! Janssen's Bait & Tackle held its 6th Annual Fisheree on January 18, 2025 at the Log Cabin Resort and Tavern on Lake Puckaway. Half of the proceeds from the 50/50 raffle went to one lucky winner with the remainder of the proceeds being donated to the Fish Hatchery!

Thank you Janssen's Bait & Tackle for the donation and thank you to the Log Cabin Resort and Tavern for being such great hosts!

Buoys

At the end of 2024, Chairman John Harter posted a picture on Facebook of the District's cracked and faded buoys. Some individuals observed this photo and donated funds to the Lake District to purchase all new buoys! We cannot thank the below individuals enough for their generous donation of new buoys! When you're out and about on the boat this summer, check out the new buoys which display the donors names!
