LPPRD approved a Lake Management Plan September 2017 which started in 2015 and was created by Onterra, LLC.

Prior to 2017 LPPRD had a Lake Management plan approved June 2004 and then In Summer 2005 the LPPRD contracted Maxim Technologies to conduct a full survey of aquatic plant conditions on Lake Puckaway.
