LPPRD approved the Comprehensive Mangement Plan for Lake Puckaway at the LPPRD Annual Meeting on June, 5, 2004. The comprehensive plan is a 30 page in-depth document with goals, action matrix, and indicators to help assist with helping Lake Puckaway be a healthy river system.

Appendix V

Lake Puckaway, like any shallow lake in Wisconsin, faces increasing management challenges. Puckaway's history serves as a reminder of both positive and negative outcomes of management efforts.

FISH FACT SHEET

Appendix VI

Lake Puckaway contains a very diverse group of fish species. This includes a sport fishery for nothern pike, walley, largemouth bass, catfish, yellow perch, crappie, bluegill and white bass.

The Lake Puckaway Protection and Rehibilitation District (LPPRD) was established in 1977.

PRINCETON DAM FACT SHEET

Appendix VIII

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) contructed the Princeton Dam in 1897as part of its river transportation improvements on teh Fox River. The dam is located approximately 8 miles downstream from Lake Puckaway.

In late April 2001, LPPRD, in cooperation with Vierbicher Associates, Inc. and Real World Research distributed 1,087 surveys to LPPRD Members and other lake users; 293 (about 27%) were returned.
